Profile Box

All public-facing guides are focused around a Librarian, whose profile box must be located beneath the left navigation menu on each page of the guide. Profile box and profile page formats are standardized by the LibGuides Management Team.

For help creating/editing your profile box, please contact the LMT.

Profile Box Explained

All profile boxes must feature:

1	Title
2	Photo (min width 250px)   Optional
3	Name
4	Email Me button
5–6	Link to pathfinder page) and Address. Use the Address Builder tool.
6	Phone and Email
7	Schedule a Meeting Button   Optional
8	Social and Professional Media Icons   Optional
9	Subject specialties   Automatically Assigned

Profile Page

Profile pages are automatically generated, except for the bio under the About Me heading. All profile pages require:

• A Profile Box
• Subject Specialties (if any)
• a List of Published Guides
• A brief bio of the Librarian

We recommend that the bio include a synopsis of your expertise and information such as relevant degrees and experience.

Paste the code produced by this tool inside the Address field of the Contact Info Box for your Profile Box page.
