How-to Guides instruct users in using a particular resource or a perfoming a specific process.
How-to Guides
How-to guides should be structured according to the best practices of instructional design, moving users through a process toward completion of specific goals. Examples might include:
- Helping users to work in the R language to perform statistical analysis for economics research
- Helping users to understand the whys and hows of managing scholarly citations
- Providing participants of the Hesburgh Library Hackathon with logistics and other resources related to the event
