Drop in, work side-by-side, share ideas and a snack!
The Hesburgh Libraries Navari Family Center for Digital Scholarship, with collaboration from our friends at ND Learning and Teaching and Learning Technologies (OIT), is excited to bring you Essential Tech Cafe—a monthly gathering each semester designed to bring together Notre Dame faculty, staff, and students in a relaxed, collaborative environment. Our themed gatherings aim to build a vibrant community of practice in several technology-centric subjects. These casual but focused events provide an ideal atmosphere to explore, share, and advance projects. Whether you're working on a dedicated project, seeking answers to pressing questions, or simply happy to learn from and with others, Essential Tech Cafe welcomes you with snacks and beverages, in a supportive, technology-enabled space. Bring your laptop and dive into your own work, and/or engage with peers who are navigating similar challenges and discovering exciting solutions.
Our current cafe offerings include key areas essential to educators and other contemporary professionals:
A true community of practice ...
One of the primary benefits of attending the Cafe is the opportunity to connect with individuals at various stages of expertise, from beginners to seasoned professionals. Discuss ongoing projects, discover new workflows, or find inspiration through shared experiences. Friendly hosts and other participants will be available to greet you, introduce resources, and help guide you toward meaningful interactions in an emerging academic community dedicated to collaborative learning and discovery.
