Welcome to Essential Tech Cafe! Drop in, tap into friendly support, share what you know, and learn what you need—all while enjoying complimentary snacks and drinks that make tackling new tech feel a lot lighter.
The cafe is a monthly event-space hosted by the Navari Center for Digital Scholarship in the Hesburgh Libraries, and with collaboration from our friends from ND Learning and Teaching and Learning Technologies. It's open to all Notre Dame faculty, staff and students looking for focused work time, hands-on guidance, or simply a creative spark at the intersection of teaching, learning, and technology. It's a true community of practice, where everyone from newcomers to experts trade tips, troubleshoot together, and grow collective know-how in the specific constellation of technologies and practices most challenging to us as contemporary professionals. We currently host three cafes, each with a slightly different tech focus.
